Coco Hall, FKA Beverly Red, founded Freemountain Toys and the Vegimals in 1975 as a cottage industry in Vermont. The company sold baseball caps with horns, wings, and other adornments, and nylon velour stuffed toys that looked like fruits, vegetables, and animals.

The Vegimal zippered Peas In A Pod were featured in Toy Story 3 in 2011 (see above). Coco sold the business in 1980.
